Space and Poetics is a course taught at the Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly. Phoebe Giannisi starting from 2008-2009 is organizing the course around subjects of reading and writing, and the relationship to space. The Poetics of Space are seen as relationships of the voice to the land, through which questions of subjectivity, time and moment, but also trace and writing are envisioned. The final exam is organized around a public performance reading presentation inside public spaces of the city relative to the subject of each year's course. The first year, 2009, the students had read texts in a walking performance inside the city starting from the harbour and ending at the Bus Stop at Krausidon. Katerina Iliopoulou was invited to comment as a critic at this reading performance in 2009.
